The quasi-linear method for finding how the diffusion tensor of energetic particles depends on the power spectrum of non-slab magnetic fluctuations is proving to be very tedious. It is clear that both parallel and perpendicular diffusion result from turbulent power at families of nearly discrete values of the k-vector, all over k-space. However, the grand picture sought from the basic quasi-linear equation relating the anisotropy of the distribution function to the magnetic power spectrum and the spatial gradient is still buried somewhere in the algebra and path integrals. Some intermediate results will be presented.
