Using data from ACE/SIS and Wind/EPACT, we compare the composition and temporal evolution of particle abundances observed in large particle events. We examine the time evolution of correlations between various elemental ratios, in order to search for evidence of unusual source or accelerator characteristics. We compare the temporal variations in these correlations with previous studies of event-integrated quantities. We also examine correlations of these energetic particle measurements with coronal mass ejection (CME) observations, particle spectra, and other event characteristics. The implications for particle event modeling will be discussed.
