	Pass Summary: The packet extractor crashed several times while
trying to dump the active C&DH bins. This procedure was aborted and will be
attempted another time.

The FOT implemented a new process to minimize the amount of data rate
changes during a nominal pass. Each day starting today, a time tag bin will
be loaded to program ACE to switch data to the high rate (87648 Ksps) 5
minutes prior to BOT on the next pass. Another bin will be loaded to switch
back to RTSW (low rate) 1 hour after BOT if the spacecraft has not been
contacted. This bin is cleared in the initial contact procedure. The
initial contact procedure also allows the FOT to load a time tag bin to
switch data to the low rate (498 sps) at 5 minutes after EOT for the
current pass. For a nominal pass, there will be no data rate changes during
the pass (except as needed for a maneuver etc.) and this should allow for a
more efficient use of the pass time.

	Pass Summary:
Near the beginning of the pass, it was noted that the S/C rcvr B was out of
lock and that both the receiver AGC's were about 20 dBm off the nominal
values. It was eventually traced to the polarization being set to Left Hand
Circular (LHC) instead of RHC.

An Operations Change Request was executed for the CRIS instrument. The CRIS
guard detector G6CD has been noisy since the beginning of the mission and
attempts have been made to deal with this noise by raising the threshold
level. The maximum threshold level was reached during the solar flare
activity and so the guard detector channel G6CD was turned off to reduce
the effects of the noise on instrument operations. CRIS has a redundant
channel which works fine.

A new stepping table was loaded for the SWIMS instrument.
