ACE Weekly Report:  10-18-00

All ACE spacecraft subsystems are performing nominally.  Attitude
maneuvers were successfully executed on 10-12-00 and 10-18-00.  The
next attitude maneuver is scheduled for 10-24-00.

On 10-12-00 ACE performed a test of the new command system,
UPL-Delivery 1 at Station 27.  A total of twelve NOOP commands were
sent to both the Active and Inactive C&DH.  DSN has scheduled the
transition to the new command system in Spring 2001.

Maneuver 10-12-00:
Maneuver Start Time=16:09:54     Maneuver End Time=16:17:48
Pre-Maneuver    HGA = -4.55 deg.     Sun Angle =  10.41 deg.
Post-Maneuver  HGA  = 4.45 deg.      Sun Angle =  4.6 deg.
Current S/C range:  1,420,354    km

On 10-16-00 SEPICA's 30kV power supply was ramped down by the S3DPU.
The Instrumenter was contacted and ramp up activities were started.
It will take several days to return SEPICA's 30kV to its nominal
value.

FOT notified during pre-pass activities that Station 27's transmitter
was down.  ACE activities were transferred to Station 16.  There was
no impact to real-time operations (DR# G06430).

Maneuver Start Time=15:55:03     Maneuver End Time=16:01:45
Pre-Maneuver    HGA = -3.24 deg.     Sun Angle =  7.94 deg.
Post-Maneuver  HGA  = 4.38 deg.      Sun Angle =  6.19 deg.
