ACE Weekly Report: 05-09-01 All ACE spacecraft subsystems are performing nominally. An attitude maneuver was successfully performed on 05-09-01. The next attitude maneuver is scheduled for 05-16-01. Total Percentage Data Capture April: 99.982% Two OCRs were executed this week for the ULEIS instrument. The first, OCR ULEIS-041, was executed on 05-07-01 to fix errors in RAM which would resolve outstanding issues stemming from an anomaly in March and another in April. However, the expected results were not seen. After analysis was performed by the Instrument team, it was determined that an additional patch would be needed. OCR ULEIS-042 was executed on 05-08-01. Again, unexpected results occurred. The Instrument team continues to analyze the anomaly. The SEPICA Instrument team continued their ramp up activities this week. On 05-07-01 commands were sent to raise the 30kV power supply set point to 3.4 kV. Anomalies: G01-0039: During the support on 05-08-01 FOT notified by Station D16 that commands were being rejected at the CPA. The ACE MOC was not commanding at the time. The rejected commands had the correct ACE S/C Id (92) and had a source code of D66. JPL and D66 investigated internally and were unable to isolate the source of the commands to Station D16. The ACE NOPE continues to investigate and will perform internal delogs to further isolate the source of the commands. ================================================ Jacqueline Maldonado Snell Honeywell Technology Solutions Incorporated (HTSI) Goddard Space Flight Center Bldg. 3 Rm N135C, Code 428.2 Greenbelt, MD 20771 Phone: (301) 286-7072 Fax: (301) 286-0218 E-mail: Jacqueline.Snell.1@gsfc.nasa.gov
