ACE Weekly Report 10-17-01

All ACE spacecraft subsystems are performing nominally. An attitude
maneuver was performed on 10/12/01. The next attitude maneuvers are
scheduled for 10/18/01 and 10/24/01.

FOT Checkout of the recently relocated string 2 has been completed.
String 1 is scheduled to be moved in ~2 weeks.

The FOT supported a 34m UPL demo pass with Goldstone's Station D24 on
10/12/01. The FOT sent a total of twenty-eight (28) commands to the
Spacecraft during the one hour test. Of the 28 commands, three were
re-transmitted twice; all were verified by the Spacecraft.
Following the completion of the demo support, Station D24 reported
that they showed a total of ten (10) commands aborted. Command
monitor data was also not available during the demo. These
discrepancies will be investigated. An additional demo support has
been requested, but one has not yet been scheduled due to
unavailability of D24 time.

Anomalies:
G01-0114 10/14/01 Shortly after BOT, MOC experienced ~65 minute
telemetry dropout due to network problems. IP NOC and JPL were
contacted and telemetry back online at 15:56:01. The nominal SSR
dump was not completed due to insufficient time. The dump was
completed during the next support (DR# N100157).

G01-0115 10/17/01 MOC experienced ~20 minutes of corrupted
telemetry. Station D66 was notified. The FOT requested the current
channel one be disabled and channel two be placed on line. Once
completed, telemetry returned to normal (DR # M100209).
