Ongoing Activities:

TAPS:
Trending, Analysis and Plotting System (TAPS) development continues with
emphasis being placed on fixing the DRs attributed to the current release.
Testing is progressing on both TAPS#1 and TAPS#2.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Automation (ROBOTT):
Offline and HSM are scheduled to be moved to String 2 on April 28th.
Command and Control is still being tested by the Automation team. Date for
release to FOT for testing is still TBD.

Testing will soon begin with the receiving 0158 Monitor data into the
GENSAA Data Server (GDS).

Anomalies:

Day 03109 (4/19/2003) - ACE Anomaly Report #G03-0033 - DSN 34m (DSS-27) -
Exciter Problem
At 15:46, after receiving a GO for command, DSS-27 informed the FOT that
they were having problems getting good lock. The station informed the FOT
of a similar situation that occurred last week and recommended shifting the
exciter frequency in order to achieve good lock - the FOT gave a go for the
recommendation. At 15:48, the FOT informed DSS-27 that DSN Monitor data
wasn't online - asked DSS-27 to confirm monitor data leaving the
station. At 15:49, DSS-27 issued a go for command. The FOT noticed the
VCOs were a bit low while DSS-27 confirmed monitor data leaving the
station. At 15:51, the FOT requested DSS-27's uplink frequency - DSS-27
stated 2097.9999 MHz. At that time the FOT requested DSS-27 change to the
correct uplink frequency of 2098.006 MHz. At 15:52, JPL Comm stated the
monitor data was online - the FOT confirmed seeing the data. At 15:55,
DSS-27 issued a GO for command - VCOs were nominal with good
lock. IMPACT: Pass activities delayed but all were completed. DR# N100970

Day 03110 (4/20/2003) - ACE Anomaly Report #G02-0034 - DSN 26m (DSS-66)
Station RED
At 14:25, when the FOT contacted JPL to bring up DSS-66 for the support,
JPL informed us that DSS-66 was RED and our support was going to be with
DSS-54. Both transmitters at DSS-66 were down. IMPACT: None. All pass
activities completed as scheduled. DR# M101548

Day 03114 (4/24/2003) - ACE Anomaly Report #G02-0035 - DSN 26m (DSS-66) TCP
Reboot
Telemetry was offline from 14:29:51 to 14:52:57. DSS-66 stated that they
were having problems locking onto telemetry. DSS-66 tried to reload the
desktop which did not work. Eventually they rebooted the TCP and reloaded
the desktop and telemetry resumed. IMPACT: Delayed pass activities. All
telemetry was recovered. DR# M101553
