ACE Weekly 05/09/03 - 05/16/03 All ACE spacecraft subsystems are performing nominally. No attitude maneuver was performed this week. The next attitude maneuver is scheduled for 05/22/03. ============================================================================ Orbit Events: The next expected SEV transit is to occur: Entry: 06/01/03 at 1442Z Minimum angle: 2.18 degrees on 06/13/03 at 1618Z Exit: 06/25/03 at 1652Z ============================================================================ OCRs Executed: NONE ============================================================================ Ongoing Activities: TAPS: Trending, Analysis and Plotting System (TAPS) development continues with emphasis being placed on fixing the DRs attributed to the current release. Testing is progressing on both TAPS#1 and TAPS#2. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Automation (ROBOTT): Testing of the Offline and HSM systems is progressing. Testing by the Automation team for Command and Control is still paused due to testing at WIND. The first release of Command and Control to the FOT is still TBD. ============================================================================ Anomalies: Day 03133 (5/13/2003) - ACE Anomaly Report #G03-0039 - GDS 34m (DSS-27) RCVR A&B VCO YH Limit Violations Received VCO limit violations at carrier up on both receivers. FOT queried the station as to what their sweep range was set to. DSS-27 stated their sweep range was 120 kHz for 12 seconds (10 kHz per second). The FOT has data showing the actual sweep range used was 240 kHz for 12 seconds (20 kHz per second). This is incorrect as stated in the recent OPD-ACE-008. This data was passed onto the Scott Riley (DSN) for further investigation. IMPACT: None. VCO values returned to within nominal limits. Day 03134 (5/14/2003) - ACE Anomaly Report #G03-0040 - GDS 26m (DSS-66) Invalid Bandwidths Set Telemetry was offline from DSS-66 (12:21:06 - 12:37:34). DSS-66 stated they were configured for the wrong bit rate. IMPACT: Delayed pass activities. All data was recovered. DR# M101608 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Glen A.
