ACE Weekly 06/06/03 - 06/12/03 All ACE spacecraft subsystems are performing nominally. An attitude maneuver was successfully executed on 06/06/03. The next attitude maneuver is schedule for 06/23/03. ============================================================================ Orbit Events: Currently in SEV transit: Entry: 06/01/03 at 1442Z Minimum angle: 2.18 degrees on 06/13/03 at 1618Z Exit: 06/25/03 at 1652Z ============================================================================ OCRs Executed: Day 03160 (6/09/2003) - Executed EPAM-004 to reset the F-Strobe command to return the threshold to its original design. ============================================================================ Ongoing Activities: TAPS: Trending, Analysis and Plotting System (TAPS) development continues with emphasis being placed on fixing the DRs attributed to the current release. Testing is progressing on both TAPS#1 and TAPS#2. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Automation (ROBOTT): Testing of the Offline and HSM systems is progressing. Testing by the Automation team for Command and Control is still paused due to testing at WIND. The first release of Command and Control to the FOT is still TBD. ============================================================================ Anomalies: Day 03162 (6/11/2003) ACE Anomaly Report #G03-0049 GDS 26m (DSS-66) Late AOS/Degraded Data At 15:18, DSS-66 reported problems with TCP1. D66 stated they would swap from TCP1 to TCP2. After swapping to TCP2, telemetry was put online and received. At 15:33, the FOT informed DSS-66 of VC2 errors. DSS-66 reported seeing similar problems along with low SNR's. At 15:36, DSS-66 reported possible problems with TCP2. DSS-66 stated they would be switching back to TCP1. At 15:37, the TCP swap was complete. Data from TCP1 looking good. At 16:00, the FOT informed DSS-66 that data was still clean. IMPACT: Delayed pass activities. All data was recovered. DR# M101661 Day 03162 (6/11/2003) ACE Anomaly Report #G03-0050 GDS JPL COMM - Network Data Hits At 17:51, the FOT reported degraded data to JPL COMM (possible network hits). At 18:07, after checking into the problem, JPL COMM confirmed the problems with the network. The hits started at 17:42:30 and ended at 17:43:20. JPL COMM confirmed network problems during the pass. IMPACT: None. All data was recovered from CDR. DR# N101082 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Glen A. Miller ACE Flight Operations Observatory Engineer Honeywell Technology Solutions Inc.
