ACE Weekly 06/20/03 - 06/26/03

All ACE spacecraft subsystems are performing nominally. Attitude and
Stationkeeping maneuvers were successfully executed on 06/23/03. The next
attitude maneuver is scheduled for 07/11/03.

Orbit Events:

ACE completed its SEV transit on 06/25/03. No commanding or telemetry
acquisition problems were encountered during this SEV transit. The minimum
SEV angle observed was 2.18 degrees. The next SEV transit will occur
during the 09/01/03 - 09/23/03 timeframe. Expected mininum SEV angle will
be 1.77 degrees.

Ongoing Activities:

TAPS:
Trending, Analysis and Plotting System (TAPS) development continues with
emphasis being placed on fixing the DRs attributed to the current
release. Release 4.1.5 was installed on 06/24/03. Testing is progressing
on both TAPS#1 and TAPS#2.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Automation (ROBOTT):
ROBOTT Release 0.1 was installed on string 2 on 6/19/2003. FOT testing of
the release is ongoing.
The Automation Team is performing testing on the Command & Control
system. The first release to the FOT is still TBD.

Anomalies:

DOY 03173 (6/22/2003) - ACE Anomaly Report #G03-0052 - GDS 26m
(DSS-66) Antenna Declared RED
JPL Ops Chief notified FOT that DSS-66 was RED and that the scheduled
contact for ACE had been switched to DSS-24. Pass times were changed
resulting in a 40 minute loss of contact time. IMPACT: None. All pass
activities accomplished on DSS-24. DR# M101687

DOY 03176 (6/25/2003) - ACE Anomaly Report #G03-0053 - GDS 26m
(DSS-66) Degraded Data
The FOT received slightly degraded data from 15:15 -15:40. DSS-66 swapped
the TCP which solved the problem. IMPACT: None. All data was
recovered. DR# M101690.

DOY 03177 (6/26/2003) - ACE Anomaly Report #G03-0054 - GDS 26m
(DSS-66) Transmitter Failure
FOT lost ability to command ACE due to DSS-66's transmitter
failing. Telemetry remained online. DSS-27 took over, providing
telemetry and a good command link for the remainder of the scheduled
pass. IMPACT: None. All pass activities were completed and all data was
recovered. DR# M101692
