ACE Weekly 07/04/03 - 07/10/03

All ACE spacecraft subsystems are performing nominally. No maneuvers were
executed this week. The next attitude maneuver is scheduled for 07/11/03.

============================================================================
Orbit Events:

The next SEV transit will occur during the 09/01/03 - 09/23/03 timeframe.
Expected mininum SEV angle will be 1.77 degrees.

============================================================================
OCRs Executed:

NONE

Ongoing Activities:

TAPS:
Trending, Analysis and Plotting System (TAPS) development continues with
emphasis being placed on fixing the DRs attributed to the current
release. Testing is progressing on both TAPS#1 and TAPS#2.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Automation (ROBOTT):
FOT testing of ROBOTT Release 0.1 is ongoing. The Automation Team is
performing testing on the Command & Control system. The first release to
the FOT is still TBD.

Anomalies:

DOY 03188 (7/07/2003) - ACE Anomaly G03-0057 - GDS 26m (DSS-16)  SFDU bit
rate not correct - Clock Calibration Off
On DOY 03187, during the entire pass with DSS-16, the SFDU Header Bit Rate
gave a value of 7968 bps when the bit rate was actually 87648 bps. The ACE
MOC ground software uses the SFDU Bit Rate for the clock calibration
calculations and our clock calibration was wrong for DOY 188. This is
similar to AR#G03-0055 (DR#N101134), but we've had 3 passes with DSS-16
where the bit rate was actually correct (87648 when we were at
87648bps). IMPACT: Bad Clock Calibration file sent to ACE Science Center.

DOY 03189 (7/08/2003) - ACE Anomaly G03-0058 - GDS 26m (DSS-16)  XMTR Problem
DSS-16 reported problems with their power amplifier just after
pre-cal. DSS-16 fixed the problem and put telemetry online at 16:54
(late). IMPACT: None. All pass activities completed, all telemetry
acquired.  DR# G103009
