ACE Weekly 10/10/03 - 10/16/03

All ACE spacecraft subsystems are performing nominally. An attitude 
maneuver was successfully executed on 10/13/03. The next attitude maneuver 
is scheduled for 10/24/03.

Orbit Events:

The next SEV transit will occur November 26th through December 20th. The 
minimum SEV angle expected will be approximately 1.19 degrees.

Ongoing Activities:

TAPS:
Release 4.1.8 was delivered on 10/07/03. The FOT is currently testing this 
final release to ensure all DRs flagged as "essential to transition" have 
been fixed.

Automation (ROBOTT):
- ROBOTT version 0.2 (OFFLINE) is operational on String 1.
- Automation Team testing of HSM and Command & Control on String 3 
continues. C&C is currently shadowing passes and an expected delivery date 
to the FOT is mid-to-late October.
- The first draft of the SUG is expected soon.

Anomalies:

DOY 03285 (10/12/2003) ACE Anomaly G03-0099 - GDS 34m (DSS-24) Telemetry 
Processor 5 Problem
Telemetry was offline from DSS-24 for 37min. IMPACT: Delayed pass 
activities. All data subsequently recovered. DR# G103488.

DOY 03286 (10/13/2003) ACE Anomaly G03-0100 - MAD 26m (DSS-66) Degraded 
Telemetry
Degraded telemetry received from DSS-66 from 13:00:00 to 
15:32:00.  Reed-Solomon errors noticed by FOT.  Cause Unknown.  IMPACT: 
Degraded data.  DR# N101486.

DOY 03287 (10/14/2003) ACE Anomaly S03-0021 - S3DPU_CONV_SEC_I Red Limit 
Violation
At 15:38:03, S3DPU_CONV_SEC_I violated the Red High limit at a value of 
443.186 mA.  It returned within the limit of 440 mA at 
15:38:05.   IMPACT:  Unknown.  Mark Popecki notified.
