ACE Weekly 06/25/04 - 07/01/04

All ACE spacecraft subsystems are performing nominally.  An attitude 
maneuver was successfully executed on 06/25/04.  The next attitude maneuver 
is scheduled for 07/09/04.

The next ACE SEV transit will occur in the mid-Aug to early Sep '04 
timeframe.

Ongoing Activities:

TAPS:
- Transition from GTAS to TAPS occurred on 03/18/04. All trending 
activities are being accomplished using TAPS.
- Installation of TAPS release 4.3 is tentatively scheduled for 
07/19/04.  All open DRs will be fixed in this release.

Automation (ROBOTT):

- Release 0.7 has been delivered to String 3 and undergoing test at this time.
   -- FOT testing almost completed.
   -- Installation on String 2 tentatively scheduled for 07/12/04.
   -- Installation on String 1 tentatively scheduled for 07/29/04.
- SUG development is ongoing.  A DRAFT version has been delivered and 
comments have been provided to the developer.
- FOT training on ROBOTT began 05/05/04 and additional sessions are being 
developed.

Anomalies:

DOY 04180 (6/28/2004) ACE Anomaly G04-0059 - MAD 26m (DSS-66) Wrong Command 
Mod Index
Tried to send the /no_op command before g_initial_contact.  The command 
never verified.  Queried the station and it was found they had the wrong 
command mod index set, 0.4 vice 0.86.  IMPACT:  Temporary inability to 
command spacecraft.  Delayed pass activities.   DR# M102571

DOY 04182 (6/30/2004) ACE Anomaly G04-0060 - GDS 26m (DSS-16) RNS Problems
At 14:43:20 telemetry dropped out.  DSS-16 said they were still seeing 
telemetry leaving the station.  JPL Comm reported that the RNS was 
down.  At 15:01:26 telemetry back online.  IMPACT:  Delayed pass 
activities.  All telemetry was recovered.  DR# G104568

DOY 04183 (7/01/2004) ACE Anomaly G04-0061 - GDS 26m (DSS-16) Y-Axis Failed
Y-Axis Hydraulics went to brake at 1450Z.  Station re-enabled the Y-Axis 
Hydraulics.  IMPACT:  Delayed pass activities.  All telemetry was 
recovered.  DR# G104578
