ACE Weekly 01/20/06 - 01/26/06 All ACE spacecraft subsystems are performing nominally. ============================================================================ Orbit/Attitude: Type Attitude Date 01/26/06 DOY 026 2006 Thrusters 2R 4R+ 4R- Duration 9:09 min Start Time 17:08:21z Stop Time 17:17:30z Start HGA 2.44 deg Stop HGA 6.54 deg Firing 47 pulses The next attitude maneuver is scheduled for Thursday 02/02/06. ============================================================================ OCRs: DOY 024 (01/24/06) 1932-1945z SIS-036 Recent increases in M12B bias voltage have had positive effect on detector depletion and resulted in leakage current reduction on four disabled strips on HV side of Matrix detector M1B. By re-enabling those strips we hope to recover some geometry factor lost when the strips were disabled. ============================================================================ Ongoing Activities: Space Link Extension (SLE) - The first version of ACE SLE was delivered to the Library on December 14. The delivery to the ACE MOC will not be until February. RIONet - String 3 is anticipated to move to the RIONet in February. The firewalls in the TDF have been scanned, but there were security issues found during the scan. The RIONet firewall tests with DTF-21 have been postponed until the security issues are resolved. Attitude Training - The FOT continues training on attitude determination, maneuver planning, and maneuver execution. ============================================================================ Extra Activities: None ============================================================================ Anomalies: DOY 020 (01/20/06) G06-0014 DSS-16 XMTR Problem The transmitter tripped due to a power glitch at DSS-16 which caused a 1.5-minute telemetry drop out. Uplink was lost when tlm came back online so DSS-16 did a resweep and the receivers came back in lock a few minutes laster. DR G106453. IMPACT: Brief tlm drop out. All data recovered. DOY 020 (01/20/06) G06-0015 DSS-46 MPA communications failed Half of the ranging only pass with DSS-46 was lost due to a Metric Pointing Assembly (MPA) failure. DR C104721. IMPACT: Lost 30 minutes of ranging data. Spacecraft Receiver AGC levels violated the Yellow Low limits. DOY 025 (01/25/06) S06-0001 SSCGR20V YL Limit Violation SSCGR20V had 1 brief yellow low limit violation (YL <= 17V). 2006-025 22:53:03 - 22:53:27 17.0 Jim Raines notified. IMPACT: Awaiting instructions from Jim Raines.
