ACE Weekly 11/10/2006 - 11/16/2006

All ACE spacecraft subsystems are performing nominally.

Orbit/Attitude:

No attitude maneuvers were completed this week.  The next attitude maneuver
is scheduled for Friday, 11/17/2006.

OCRs:

OCR GND-170 will be executed on 11/21/2006 (DOY 325).  This will reset the
epoch to the original value calculated after launch which is 1997 237
15:48:24.604.  This epoch will be used starting with the clock calibration
report for DOY 324 2006.
Over the years, the epoch has been incorrectly redefined while trying to
troubleshoot clock calibration problems.  This has caused different epochs
to be used over the years.  The ACE Science Center has been correcting the
epoch while it has been incorrectly defined.

OCR GND-174  TPOCC r5.3 String 3 testing is being completed.  Installation
on String 2 is being scheduled for next week.

Activities:

Automation - A ROBOTT SPS patch has been generated to provide the SPS
password in the SOAP request.  DSN recently upgraded to SPS V1.0.5b which
requires this password.  Delivery and installation of the ROBOTT SPS patch
is being scheduled.  DSN has currently scheduled their DDR for 11/20/2006
and the elimination of the current NSS server for 11/27/2006.

RIONET - String 3 IP addresses will be configured for the RIONet 11/28/2006
through 11/30/2006 (DOY 332-334).  The next RIONet meeting is scheduled for
11/21/2006.

Space Link Extension (SLE) - ACE SLE version 2.1 was delivered to the
Library on April 28, 2006.  Installation in the ACE MOC will not occur until
after the MOC is converted to the RIONET.

DSN's available time continues to be limited.  SSR playback is increasingly
not completed until subsequent supports.  While trying to catch up, no
redumps of data gaps are performed.  Data loss has been minimal so far.

Anomalies:

DOY 314 (11/10/2006)  S-ACE-0101 (G06-0104) - ROBOTT/C&C Froze
ROBOTT froze after procedure S_OPS_PLBK_COMPLETE completed (EOT-5minutes).
RTMON restart not performed since 5 minutes before End of Track.
CDSID#00021192
IMPACT:  This is a recurring issue that the ROBOTT developers are aware of.
Procedure G_ACEDOWN not performed.

DOY 318 (11/14/2006)  S-ACE-0113 (G06-0105) - DSS-46 Incorrectly Configured
DSS-46 was incorrectly configured for a ranging only pass instead of the
requested full tracking pass.  FOT notified Ops Chief from home at 1:40am
EST.  DSS-46 was reconfigured by 1:55am.
IMPACT:  Activities delayed 30 minutes.  SSR playback completed on the
following support.

DOY 319 (11/15/2006)  S-ACE-0114 (S06-0012) - S3DPU_CONV_SEC_I RH Limit
S3DPU_CONV_SEC_I had 1 brief red high limit violation (RH > 480 mV).

IMPACT: The last S3DPU_CONV_SEC_I red high limit violation was DOY 223 2006.
