Activities:

DOY 029 (01/29/2007) Monday's support was shortened 45 minutes to provide
the SOHO mission additional DSN time for instrument recovery.

RIONET - Testing and configuration of String 3 continues.
* The DSN CDR download test occurred Wednesday January 31, 2007.  Some
progress was made but the CDR files are still not being successfully
downloaded.  Further tests will be scheduled.
* The backup GMUG was successfully tested Tuesday January 30, 2007.
Telemetry was received and a NO_OP command was sent to DSS-27.

SPS - 2 issues have arisen with the schedules provided by DSN's SPS.
* We suspect that the SOAP request (getLatestReleasedScheduleUrl) is giving
the latest URL before we are actually able to download that file.  Reference
Anomaly Report G07-0012 below.  We have submitted the issue to DSN and the
SPS development team.
* The SPS site has not had the latest Week 10 schedule in the 7-day format
for several days.  The SPS development team is aware of the issue.
* ACE started using the SPS schedule on January 16.  The SPS schedule is
used by our automation to configure all of the MOC software.  DSN plans to
completely transition to SPS on February 16.

ROBOTT
* A successful test of WINDDS as a backup data distribution server was
performed on January 30.
* The ROBOTT developer is finishing the patches (CDSID#22954 and #23091) to
allow ROBOTT to work with the RIONet.  The delivery date for patches is
targeted for February.

Space Link Extension (SLE) - ACE SLE version 2.1 was delivered to the
Library on April 28, 2006.  Installation in the ACE MOC will not occur until
after the MOC is converted to the RIONET.

Anomalies:

DOY 029  01/29/2007  S-ACE-0151  G07-0012  Error downloading SPS Schedule
The ROBOTT software on ACEDDS downloaded an updated DSN schedule but the
file was not available from the SPS server.  The ROBOTT software is not
designed to retry downloading the file if there is an error (CDSID#23068).
The SPS development team has been notified that files are not always
available.  Time between schedule downloads has been increased to avoid this
problem.
IMPACT:  The new schedule contained an update for ACE (EOT moved earlier).
Since the new schedule was not downloaded, the automation software did a
reboot after the new EOT.  Manual intervention required to terminate
automation.
