Activities:

Space Link Extension (SLE) - The SLE/CMD software (v2.1) will be installed
Tuesday 08/21/2007. A test with DTF-21 (DSN Test Facility) will be
performed Wednesday 08/22/2007 at 1800z.

Planning continues for integrating ACE operations into a multi-mission ops
center (MMOC). The current TPOCC mission software will be replaced by ITOS
and the ROBOTT automation software will be replaced by GMSEC tools (CAT,
GREAT, ANSR, etc). The ADS attitude software will be replaced by
MSASS/MTASS. The timeline for when this will occur has not yet been
determined.

Anomalies:

DOY 225 08/13/2007 S-ACE-0217 G07-0071 DSS-27 Antenna Pointing
DSS-27 was unable to start tracking at Beginning Of Track (BOT) due to
problems with the Antenna Monitor and Control (AMC) (DR#G107956). DSN
personnel needed to travel to the antenna to reset it.
IMPACT: Activities delayed 41 minutes. SSR playback and SWEPAM calibration
were completed on the following pass (Tuesday 08/14/2007).

DOY 225 08/13/2007 S-ACE-0218 G07-0072 Conflicting Schedule
While DSS-27 had Antenna Pointing problems, the FOT requested DSS-66 be
brought up for support if DSS-27 was unable to fix the problem. DSS-27
fixed the problem before DSS-66 was available and the pass was kept with
DSS-27. However, the DSN schedule was updated for both DSS-27 and DSS-66.
The ROBOTT automation software downloaded the new schedule and terminated
the MOC software according to the DSS-66 pass times.
IMPACT: The MOC software did not see the last 5 minutes of SSR data. That
data was captured on the following pass.
