ACE Weekly 01/16/2008 - 01/22/2008 All ACE spacecraft subsystems are performing nominally. ============================================================================ Orbit/Attitude: Type Attitude SK-46 Date 01/17/2008 01/17/2008 DOY 017 2008 017 2008 Thrusters 2R 4R+ 4R- 3A 4A Duration 15:16 min 52.112 sec Start 17:11:50z 18:49:48z Stop 17:27:06z 18:50:40z HGAStart -6.90deg 7.40deg HGAStop 7.40deg 7.45deg SunStart 6.96deg 11.88deg SunStop 11.88deg 11.83deg Nutation 0.27deg 0.15deg Firing 78 pulses Continuous FuelUsed 0.2489lbs 0.1876lbs FuelRemain 152.2016lbs 152.0140lbs FinalSCMass 1386.461lbs 1386.273lbs The next attitude maneuver is scheduled for Monday, 01/28/2008. ============================================================================ OCRs: None ============================================================================ Activities: The risk of data loss has increased for the December-January time frame. If there are problems with the passes, it may not be possible to acquire additional DSN time. Refer to 12/25/2007 weekly for further information. The lost pass on DOY 015 resulted in an SSR Failover (31 second data loss 2008-016-15:23:42 to 15:24:12). 4 days were needed to catch up on SSR Playback. Fortunately, there were no additional problems and no further data loss. ============================================================================ Anomalies: DOY 017 01/17/2008 S-ACE-0267 G08-0007 ROBOTT/C&C Froze The ACE MOC automation software (ROBOTT) froze during the procedure S_OPS_PLBK_COMPLETE. RTMON restart not performed since less than 15 minutes before End of Track. CDSID#00021192 IMPACT: This is a recurring issue that the ROBOTT developers are aware of. Procedure G_ACEDOWN not performed. This last occurred 3 months ago on 10/11/2007. DOY 018 01/18/2008 S-ACE-0268 G08-0008 ACEDDS & AC2XT2 Display Failures Two monitors failed. Hardware maintenance was notified and replaced the monitor. IMPACT: Minimal. The ACE MOC has 21 HP Monitors (most from 1997) and currently averages 2 failures per year.
