ACE Weekly 03/12/2008 - 03/18/2008 All ACE spacecraft subsystems are performing nominally. ============================================================================ Orbit/Attitude: No maneuvers were performed this week. The next attitude maneuver is scheduled for Wednesday 03/26/2008. =========================================================================== OCRs: DOY 077 (03/17/2008) GND-192 Single Person Commanding The requirement for two-person commanding has been waived. Command approval will still be performed in compliance with ACE Escalation Procedures. ============================================================================ Activities: The precal test commands were reinstated on Thursday 03/13/2008. ============================================================================ Anomalies: DOY 071 03/11/2008 S-ACE-0291 G08-0031 DSS-34 Antenna Stop The ground antenna stopped tracking for unknown reasons at 2346z. The station was eventually able to restart tracking at 0003z. Uplink re-established at 0005z. DR#C106245. IMPACT: 20 minute telemetry outage automatically redumped on following support. DOY 076 03/16/2008 S-ACE-0292 G08-0032 DSS-46 SLE CMDs On Saturday, ACE MOC could not BIND to DSS-46 and SLE commands were not reaching the station. The ACEFOT was contacted at home and recommended the station perform a TCP reboot and reload the service instance configuration file. The station successfully resolved the problem. The ACE MOC binded to the station (via automatic retries) and commanding was successful. Side note, the new BlackBerries simplified the resolution as compared with the old pagers and calling cards that the FOT previously had. DR#C106257. IMPACT: Activities delayed 30 minutes.
