ACE Weekly 01/28/2009 - 02/03/2009 All ACE spacecraft subsystems are performing nominally. ============================================================================ Orbit/Attitude: Type Attitude Date 02/02/2009 DOY 033 2009 Thrusters 2R 4R+ 4R- Duration 13:32 min Start 16:40:16z Stop 16:53:48z HGAStart -7.35deg HGAStop 7.67deg SunStart 6.93deg SunStop 17.87deg SpinStart 5.0044rpm SpinStop 5.0078rpm Nutation 0.06deg Firing 68 pulses FuelUsed 0.2222lbs FuelRemain 144.8256lbs FinalSCMass 1379.085lbs The next attitude maneuver is scheduled for Monday 02/16/2009. =========================================================================== OCRs: DOY 030 (01/30/2009) 2308-2313z SIS-043 M1B HV strip #15 has excess leakage current that causes noise in SIS RTSW data. This strip will be disabled and its threshold raised. In the present version of SIS firmware the maximum number of strips with raised thresholds is 20, and that maximum was reached with SIS OCR-42. M1B GND strip #26 is quiet enough so its threshold will be lowered to make room for raising the threshold on M1B HV strip #15. ============================================================================ Activities: Data Capture: 100% DOY 025-032 2009 The ACE/DSS-27 and WIND/DSS-24 Multi-Mission test on Thursday 01/29/2009 (1545-1745z) was successful. The MMOC ITOS/SLE simultaneously received ACE and WIND telemetry. Four commands were sent to ACE (2xno_op and 2xdownlink_format) and four to WIND (tick, tock, gnip and gnop). The DSN CDR file created from the MMOC test was an aggregate data file (VC1+VC2+unsynchronized data). The ACE Science Center has requested to JPL that DSN provide separate VC1 (realtime) and VC2 (playback) files. Current DSN CDR files with the legacy equipment are separated; this request is for data files that will be generated after the transition to TLM SLE. ============================================================================ Anomalies: None
