The next attitude maneuver and station-keeping #50 are scheduled for
Tuesday 03/24/2009.

Typically, in this part of the L1 orbit (every 6 months), one or more
dog-leg attitude maneuvers are necessary. With the increased HGA
constraint and the elongating L1 orbit, a dog-leg attitude maneuver was
avoided.

Dog-leg attitude maneuvers are necessary when the thruster firing occurs
during the sun pulse. The dog-leg maneuver splits the attitude maneuver
into 2 segments, one with an early jet-start angle and one with a later
jet-start angle, in order to reach the target attitude.

Activities:

Data Capture: 100% DOY 060-067 2009

The ACE Science Center has found that only minimal changes are required
for Level 0 processing of DSN CDR files when ACE transitions to SLE for
telemetry. The transition to SLE telemetry will occur when ACE
transitions to the Multi-Mission Ops Center (MMOC).

Anomalies:

DOY 064 03/05/2009 S-ACE-0418 G09-0014 DSS-24 Telemetry Processor
The ground station was unable to lock onto telemetry data. A backup
Telemetry Processor (TLP) was used. DR#G109291
IMPACT: Activities delayed 10 minutes.

DOY 063 03/04/2009 S-ACE-0419 G09-0015 AOSR Timestamps
The original AOSR file (Attitude Orbit State Report) delivered after the
maneuver had different times for the Attitude and Orbit sections. The
ACE Science Center and NOAA were unable to process the file. The file
was corrected and redelivered on 3/5/2009.
IMPACT: The ACE Science Center and NOAA were unable to process the
original AOSR file.
