Data Capture: 100% DOY 340-348 2009

In contrast to previous years, ACE has not had difficulty acquiring DSN
time in December and January. The main problem has been that in the
winter months, viewperiods from antennas in the northern hemisphere are
shorter. 4 of the 6 antennas that ACE uses are in the northern
hemisphere (Madrid, Spain & Goldstone, California). This year, however,
there appears to be less competition for the antenna time.

Anomalies:

DOY 347 12/13/2009 S-ACE-0474 G09-0061 ROBOTT Terminated Procedure
The MOC automation software, ROBOTT, prematurely terminated the SSR
redump procedure (s_ops_plbk_complete.prc). ROBOTT did not see that the
previous procedure had completed and terminated all procedures. This is
a known issue (CDSID#21122) which last occurred on 12/01/2008
(AR#G08-0123).
IMPACT: Minimal. No redumps were required.
