Anomalies:

DOY 151 05/31/2010 S-ACE-0509 G10-0028 cron stopped working in MMOC
The cron utility stopped working. Cron is used for downloading the
schedule and starting the ITOS procedures for both ACE and WIND
missions. The FOT discovered the problem during the WIND pass on DOY
151. The FOT went to the MMOC and started the WIND procedure manually.
The FOT made a second trip to the MMOC before the ACE beginning of track
and manually started the ACE procedure.
IMPACT: The WIND procedure was started 1 hour 30 minutes after
beginning of track. Since WIND playback is started via spacecraft
command table, no data loss occurred. The ACE procedure was started
before beginning of track and commanding activities were performed as
scheduled. The cron problem was resolved on DOY 152, when the mmocfot
password was reset.

Background information: The MMOC software runs from the mmocfot
account. Each user is given an individual account for accessing the
computer. With the mmocfot account expired, the cron utility was not
able to start new processes, but individual accounts were able to unlock
the computer and manually start procedures.
