The ULEIS shutter can also close down to 6% and 1% if there is enough solar activity. Tue Aug 3 2010, DOY 215 15:18:50z closed to 25% Wed Aug 4 2010, DOY 216 10:13:46z open to 100% ======================================================================== Anomalies: None Update on Anomaly S10-0006 (S-ACE-0515) SEPICA Line Pressure At the end of April (DOY 116 04/26/2010 23:45:00z), the SEPICA isobutane line pressure (SSSLINEP) started fluctuating from 2-6psi. The isobutane lines had been very stable at 4.2psi until February (DOY 034 02/03/2010). From Thursday 08/05/2010 (DOY 217 23:00z) to Saturday 08/07/2010 (DOY 219 01:54z), the pressure reading dropped to zero and has stopped fluctuating. (See attached plot) The fluctuations and eventual drop to zero could be due to either a faulty regulator or a faulty pressure gauge. Background Information The isobutane is for 3 Proportional Counters that act as triggers for particle detection. The 3 valves that send gas to the Proportional Counters have all failed during the mission, but have occasionally opened spontaneously. The valves have remained closed as follows PC1 valve closed since 02/13/1998 PC2 valve closed since 11/24/2001 PC3 valve closed since 02/04/2005 The Proportional Counter pressures have remained at zero since the valves last closed. The line pressure is measured between the isobutane tank and the closed valves.
