Data Capture: 100% DOY 262-269 2010

File transfer from DSN's Central Data Recorder to the MMOC is now
successful. Work continues to route the file transfer via
non-operational networks as requested by NISN.

Anomalies:

DOY 265 09/22/2010 S-ACE-0533 G10-0050 MMOC Power Outage
GSFC Bldg 3/14 experienced a 3.5-4 hour power outage due to lightning
(DOY 265 2358z - DOY 266 0330z and intermittent power until ~0400z).
The UPS provided power to the MMOC (Multi-Mission Ops Center) during
this time; UPS availability was extended with the intermittent power in
the last 30 minutes. No ACE or WIND passes were scheduled during this
time; the next pass was with ACE on DOY 266 at 1315z. The operational
computer for ACE & WIND (mmocops1p) was still running but unable to
unlock the screensaver. This may have been due to power transients or
the fact that the operations network was also significantly impacted by
the power outage. Of the 10 RIONet computers in the MMOC, 7 were unable
to unlock the screen saver. All 6 of the RIONet computers in the MITF
(Mission Integration and Test Facility) were not impacted and were
running without problems. The IONet mailserver used for forwarding
email notifications from the MMOC systems was down until DOY 266 1800z.
IMPACT: The 7 computers (including the operational computer) in the
MMOC that were unable to unlock the screensaver were rebooted. The MMOC
software (ITOS, etc) was restarted before the beginning of the next ACE
pass. The FOT monitored the ACE pass to ensure everything was
functioning properly. Note, the impact would be minimal if the daily
ACE pass had been lost; recorder playback would have been caught up over
the next couple of days.

DOY 266 09/23/2010 S-ACE-0534 G10-0051 DSS-27 Antenna Stop
DSS-27 antenna stopped (1723z) when a circuit breaker was tripped during
G91 demolition work at the DSN Goldstone site. Power to the antenna and
tracking were restored within 30 minutes (1752z). The FOT disconnected
and reconnected SLE CMD to ensure no problems when commanding was to be
performed at 1838z
IMPACT: SSR redumps performed on the following pass. No realtime data
to NOAA SWPC for 30 minutes. Manual intervention needed for
reconnecting SLE CMD.
