Activities:

Data Capture: 100% DOY 306-312 2010

NOAA Space Weather Prediction Center does not have a backup
antenna.

NOAA SWPC currently has antenna time with NICT (Japan), DLR
(Germany),

and Wallops (Virginia). This week, NICT will be down from
11/12-11/13

for maintenance. The network connection to the Air Force Satellite

Control Network (AFSCN) was lost on September 1, 2010 with the

closing of the Onizuka Air Force Base. There are plans to add a
network

through Vandenberg Air Force Base, but that has not been
implemented.

Note, the NOAA SWPC operations is separate from the Goddard
flight

operations, but this information is worth noting and therefore
included

in this weekly report.

Anomalies:

DOY 306 11/02/2010 S-ACE-0553 G10-0069
ace_pass.proc did not finish

Nominal end of track notification not received. FOT manually exited

ace_pass procedure and performed necessary clean up activities prior to

configuring system for DOY 307 pass activities.

IMPACT: Manual intervention required. Pass Summary and Clock
Calibration

Report manually generated.

DOY 309 11/05/2010 S-ACE-0554 G10-0070 Telemetry
delayed 60 minutes at BOT

Although MUS reported active binds and JPL stated there were no problems,

telemetry was not reaching the MOC. The FOT manually disconnected
and

re-established an active realtime telemetry bind. MMOC began
receiving telemetry.

IMPACT: Manual intervention required. All data recovered
during subsequent support.

NOTE, WIND anomaly reports will be included when problems with
MMOC

software/equipment would have impacted ACE operations.

DOY 309 11/05/2010 S-WIND-0477 TTC V10.1 SW DCD
PIT test with D54 unsuccessful

Tracking, Telemetry, & Command (TTC) V10.1 SW Data Capture &
Deliver (DCD) Project Interface Test (PIT) with D54 unsuccessful.
MMOCOPS1P (primary) was configured for the RNS from 10/309/1450-1650
(Committed). MMOCOPS1B (backup) was configured for the DCD from
10/309/1450-1650 (Non-committed). Received telemetry on MMOCOPS1P. Able
to bind on MMOCOPS1B but did not received telemetry from the test SLE
telemetry server. Wind was up at the same time as ACE and they also
did not receive telemetry for quite some time. Not sure if it's
related.

Note, both Wind and ACE had the same BOT on DOY 309.
