The last 3 tests had range data with a bias from 0 to 80m. The Near Earth Network team is evaluating their configuration to try to reduce the bias. WS1 and Santiago will be performing range tests with the spacecraft in-between DSN passes as their antennas are available. The ACE MOC will not be receiving telemetry during these tests, but will look at recorded data for any issues. WS1 performed range tests during these times in the past week. 01/03/2014 2024-2028z 01/06/2014 1525-1600z 01/06/2014 1640-1750z With current solar activity and sunspot AR1944, NOAA Space Weather Prediction Center (SWPC) received 2.5 hours of tracking from AFSCN (006-2302z to 007-0155z) until the Korean Space Weather Center antenna (KSWC) could resume tracking. The last use of the AFSCN was on 11/13/2013 to test the new SCDs at VAFB. ======================================================================== Anomalies: DSS-34 was unable to support the RNG ONLY track on 1/5/2014 due to transmitter problems, DR#C109772. There were 2 other southern hemisphere ranging tracks (1/3 and 1/7) between the attitude maneuvers on 12/31/2013 and 1/7/2014.
