The SIS instrument continues to age and is affected by increasing temperatures (particularly in the winter months) which cause increased noise on the matrix strips. This is driving the instrument livetime to very low levels and affecting the browse rates as well. In particular, the E>10 and E>30 MeV protons fluxes are strongly affected by the increased temperatures, noise, and low livetime. Until further analysis has been made, it is suggested that these rates from SIS not be used.
